I hiked Pidurangala rock in Dumbula to have a detailed view of Sigiriya.
Tourist often prefers to go top Pidiurangala to have a lovely view from Sigiriya as it cost only 500 Srilankan rupees, wherein If you wish to go to Sigirya it costs you 30 USD.
It is better if you go to watch the sunrise at Pidurangala rock, you will get perfect lighting and morning atmosphere to click the best pictures.
