With its ideal location just 5 minutes walking distance from the famous Magic Sands Beach Park, 7 minutes walking to Pahoeoe Park, and less than a mile to Kahalu'u Beach Park, this cozy, private cottage is what vacation dreams are made of. Our Magic Sands Property is one of the many reasons we are so proud to be involved in Kona property management. Kick back and relax in the completely remodeled home with a spacious open layout, beautiful kitchen, Smart TV’s, WiFi, and an expansive partially covered lanai showcasing the tropical landscaping. Equipped with AC in the 3 bedrooms, the features in this home are endless and make for the perfect home-base to unwind after a day of exploring the Big Island!

The home is conveniently located close to many amenities which include a plethora of dining options (including the famous Sam Choy), a movie theater, and shopping center, all within a five-minute drive. Numerous resort amenities are available just to the South. The Keauhou Bay area offers great ocean access, scuba diving, sailing, catamaran, fishing charters, kayaking, and outrigger canoeing.

Just a mile down the shoreline you will find Kahalu’u Beach State Park, famous for its encounters with the graceful green Hawaiian Sea Turtles.
This property is near town yet far enough away to give the true flavor of Hawaii. Conveniently located close to downtown Kailua Kona, you will enjoy exploring the historic area. The town of Kailua Kona "hides" some very important Hawaii Island historic spots. Both the Hulihee Palace and the Mokuaikaua Church are located on Alii Drive. King Kamehameha I spent his last years living near the current site of King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel until his passing in 1819. The Ahuena Heiau, located on the grounds of the hotel, is a reconstructed temple rebuilt by Kamehameha himself and is on the register of National Historic Landmarks.

Watch the people and the cruise ships come and go from the Kailua Kona Pier, with access to Hawaii’s best scuba diving, big-game fishing, kayaking, dolphin and whale watching. Visit the famous Farmer's Market. Enjoy a shave ice or a cup of Kona coffee, have a light snack or a gourmet meal, buy an inexpensive souvenir or a piece of fine art, book an activity, go for a swim or hang out at the beach. The pier is the starting and finishing point of the Ironman World Championship (October) and a great place to watch the sunset. Everything you need and want is readily available in the heart of the quaint Kailua Kona town.

Magic Sands Retreat is conveniently located, a great home base to explore the many wonders of the Big Island of Hawaii including the Volcano National Park, Mauna Kea Observatory, coffee and macadamia nut farms, artist communities, and more!
