Russell Graves answers one of the most asked questions in all of photography, 'Do I really need a tripod?'
The short answer is - yes. Although an added piece of gear you have to carry, a tripod is still an essential for the highest quality shots. A tripod stabilizes movements and allows for sharp images at slower shutter speeds.
Stabilization systems continue to improve, but as of right now, YES, you still need a tripod for nature photography.
